Providing quality kids church curriculum
that is affordable, full of energy and fun,
while retaining the spiritual depth to
make an eternal impact.

Amy Silva has been involved in children’s ministry since 1992, serving in many different capacities. Amy and her husband were part of the group that helped to plant the Sugar Land Vineyard with Bert Waggoner, National Director of Vineyard USA, and led the children’s ministry there for four years before stepping down to be a mom to her two young children. After serving as the Childrens' Pastor at the Cypress Vineyard from 2003-2009, she has now returned to the Sugar Land Vineyard.
Amy has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston.
She has been asked to speak at local MOPS groups, where her topic centers around
how to raise your kids so that they love and seek after God.
Amy serves in children's ministry because she feels that is where God wants her to be!
Whether she’s served in bigger churches or smaller churches, the desire of her heart hasn’t
changed. Amy says, "I want to see Psalm 78:1-7 lived out: “We will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power and the wonders he has done…so the
next generation would know them…then they would put their trust in God.”
"I want kids to know what God has done, to know and experience His power and love
for them, and to put their lives in His hands because they trust Him. My desire is for kids to
want God in their lives, where a relationship with Him develops naturally, and for it to remain
that way as they grow up. If they have that, everything else will work itself out!"
Amy lives in Houston, TX, with her husband, Steve (who wrote the children’s worship songs
offered on the homepage), and her three children: Gianna, Jonathan and Ashlyn. When she’s
not being a mom, children’s pastor and wife, she enjoys running and pursuing the next
Tae Kwon Do belt.
